Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works

Since 2002 the JSC "Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works" forms a holding with the world–famous Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works.

Nowdays Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works is known to be one of the largest metal ware manufacturers in producing metal products and in deep metal processing. Wire-, net-, fastener- and electrode-making are the main workshops, however, there are more than 20 subdivisions among them. Four thousand employees work there, a quarter of them are young people. Top managers clearly understand that stable effective work can be guaranteed only by further improvements in the quality of production and service and extension of the range of products. Continuous modernization of the equipment, introduction of new technologies, high scientific and technological potential give Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works a chance to fulfill all market requirements and meet and satisfy all its customers’ needs.

In 1995 Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works was awarded with "Gold Globe" by EDF Inc. USA. That happened due to highly–competitive products, participation in the economic life of the country and integration in world economy. In November 2000 at the third exposition "Russian Brand" 8 kinds of metal products were awarded with "Gold Mark" and 5 more – with "Silver Mark of Quality". In December 2000 South–Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Agency of economic security and crisis management acknowledged its stable work and open and honest politics, aimed at the development of good reputation and cooperation, and granted "Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works" the Certificate of "Kind Will".

The Company is a constant participant at "Metal Expo" and Dusseldorf Wire Fairs.
