The managers of the Managing Company offered to rename a part of Skladskaya Street in Metiznikov Street ("Metiznic" is a Russian word to call any employee of the Works).

It happened so that the most part of Skladskaya Street is occupied by offices and workshops of the "Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works"; the enterprise which has brought and is still bringing its contribution to town-planning, cultural and sports life of the city. More than 4 thousand of the citizens work here. The Works take care of 3,5 thousand former workers. The production with the brand ОАО "МММЗ" is well - known both in Russia and abroad.

On July 16, before the day of the Metallurgist and celebrating of the 75th anniversary of the city, the governors will rename the part of Skladskaya Street where the Works is located. It will happen due to all merits and contributions of the Works in development and prosperity of Magnitogorsk.
